Job summary

CARiNG Pharmacy in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a front-line associate to assist customers, provide product information, help them find items, and offer advice on selections. You will also ensure product visibility and implement FEFO/FIFO inventory practices.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, managing Stock, processing payments, and supporting promotions. Training is provided, with benefits such as health insurance, maternity leave, and opportunities for promotion.

Duties/Responsibilities (Training Provided)

Customer Assistance: Attend to customers, providing product information, helping them find what they need, and offering advice on product selection.

Product Display: Ensure product visibility and proper display, implementing FEFO and FIFO practices for inventory management.

Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, store deliveries appropriately, and assist in stock control and management.

Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, referring them to the appropriate pharmacy team member when necessary.

Promotions and Pricing: Attach price tags to products, stay updated on special promotions, and create appealing displays.

Payment Processing: Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the cash register with receipts.

CARiNG Pharmacy was established in 1994 by 5 pharmacists, who were course-mates in the School of Pharmacy, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

The first CARiNG Outlet opened in Taman Muda, Cheras. At that time, the awareness of community pharmacy services was still low. The founders took these important steps to instill the value of pharmacists in the healthcare profession by:

Providing 12 hours a day, 7 days a week full time pharmacist service.

Providing easily accessible pharmacist counseling service, free blood pressure checks and other health checks at a minimum fee.

Designing the store with a modern, open concept to maximise interaction with customers and merchandise. With this successful concept, CARiNG Pharmacy is growing fast within the Peninsular Malaysia.
