Job description

As a Career Counsellor at Fairview, your mission is to open doors for students. You’ll deliver impactful career and university guidance programmes, provide 1:1 counselling session, and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and leadership teams across multiple campuses. You’ll help students navigate their options, build confidence in their futures, and equip them with real-world skills to thrive in an ever-changing global landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Delivery: Design, coordinate, and deliver career and university guidance programmes across campuses, ensuring students are fully prepared for their next steps.

1:1 Student Counselling: Provide personalized counselling sessions to help students explore career paths, university options, and personal development goals.

Cross-Campus Collaboration: Travel between campuses to ensure consistent support and guidance is available for all Fairview students.

Workshops & Seminars: Organize and run workshops on career exploration, resume writing, interview skills, university application processes, and global education trends.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work with parents, teachers, and external partners to provide holistic support for each student's career development journey.

Resource Development: Create and maintain career resources, guides, and toolkits that empower students to take charge of their futures.

University Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, industry professionals, and educational organizations to expand opportunities for Fairview students.

Data & Progress Tracking: Maintain records of counselling sessions, student goals, and outcomes to continuously refine and improve guidance services.

What We are Looking For:

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education, Career Guidance, or a related field. (Postgraduate qualifications are a plus.)

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in career counselling, educational guidance, or youth mentorship.

Student-Centric Mindset: A passion for working with young people and empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures.

Strong Communicator: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect meaningfully with students, parents, and educators.

Organized & Proactive: Able to manage multiple projects and campuses, while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Global Perspective: Familiarity with international university systems (US, UK, Australia, Europe) is a strong advantage.

Adaptable and Positive: Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment focused on performance, positivity, and impact.
