Job summary

Pantai Hospital Laguna Merbok in Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a qualified nursing or allied health professional to join the cardiovascular laboratory.

You will perform ECGs, treadmill stress tests, non-invasive vascular assessments, and ambulatory BP monitoring, and provide patient education.

The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on cardiovascular lab experience and the ability to work extended hours and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Nursing or Allied Health field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on cardiovascular lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrocardiograms (ECGs) and obtain readings for Cardiologist review.
• Conduct Treadmill Stress Tests with ECG monitoring and vital signs observation.
• Complete Non-Invasive Peripheral Vascular Tests using Ultrasound Echo to assess heart function, blood flow and circulation.
• Perform Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Event Recording and Holter Monitoring; educate clients prior to procedures.

Job description

Perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs or ECGs) and obtain a good electrocardiograph reading for Cardiologist’s review.

Perform Treadmill Stress Tests: connect patient to an ECG monitor, obtain a baseline heart rate and resting blood pressure; observe the effect of increased exertion during the test.

Complete Non Invasive Peripheral Vascular Tests by collecting Ultrasound Echo to form a screen image of the heart function, blood flow, and circulation.

Perform Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Event Recording and Holter Monitoring with sufficient education to clients prior to the procedure. Ensure clients understood.

Job requirements

Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Nursing or other Allied Health Profession

Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience in non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular laboratory

Able to work extended hours and on‑call duties
