UTAR Hospital is a Not-For-Profit hospital located in Kampar that provides affordable and holistic healthcare services, including Western Medical & Medicine services and Traditional & Complementary Medicine (T&CM) services. The Medical Centre offers outpatient specialist clinics, health screening unit, radiology services, and inpatient ward. The T&CM Centre provides Traditional Chinese Medicine services such as Internal Medicine consultation, Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Tuina, TCM Rehabilitation, and Ayurveda services.

The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to heart and blood vessel conditions. This includes operating specialized medical equipment, assisting physicians in invasive and non-invasive procedures, and ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic results.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Diploma or Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, or related field.
  • Certification in Cardiovascular Technology (e.g., RCIS, RCS) is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Relevant clinical experience in cardiology, catheterization labs, or diagnostic testing is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in operating cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
