Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist in Diagnostic Health Screening to provide professional nursing care within the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and related units. You will support imaging procedures, ECG, TTE/TEE, and patient education while ensuring safety, accuracy, and high-quality patient care.

The role requires Registration with the Nursing Board of Malaysia, post-basic CV tech qualification, and 3+ years of nursing experience, with BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Post Basic qualification in a related field.
• Bachelor’s in nursing or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology.
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 3 years’ experience with Post Basic certificate in Cardiovascular Technology.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Understand and provide nursing care in line with the organisation's Vision and Mission.
• Work shifts as assigned by unit managers and ensure patient care standards.
• Participate in planning and evaluation of Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory facilities and services.
• Assist in invasive cardiac procedures and ensure equipment readiness and safety.
• Liaise with doctors and consultants regarding patient care and changes in condition.
• Maintain documentation and ensure laboratory cleanliness and readiness for next cases.
• Provide health education to cardiac patients and families.
