Job summary

Singtel KL (Sudong MY Sdn Bhd) invites a Finance Executive – Capital Accounting to support the Capital Accounting team in processing capex transactions, maintaining WIP trackers, and ensuring compliance with the Capital Accounting Control Framework.

You will assist in month-end close, prepare capital reports, and drive process improvements, including ERP system upgrades such as SAP S/4HANA, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver accurate financial data.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting or related areas.
• Experience in capital accounting, fixed assets, or project accounting is beneficial.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Attention to detail with data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Capex transactions processed and validated in line with policies and control frameworks.
• Review AIS documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Support timesheet validation, capital drawdown tracking, and funding allocations.
• Assist in monthly reporting such as capital expenditure surveys.
• Maintain and update WIP trackers and monitor balances.
• Prepare reconciliations (WIP, accruals, GRIR) and support month-end close.

Education

Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or related field

ACCA/CPA/CIMA completed or in progress
