Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum, including Checkpoint and IGCSE.
• Demonstrated employment stability, preferably with at least 2 years in previous positions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Cambridge-aligned lessons for Primary and Secondary learners.
• Teach core subject skills: reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and oral communication.
• Prepare Lesson Plans and Schemes of Work using the school's established format.
• Assess, prepare and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Liaise with the HOD for departmental updates, coordination of teaching responsibilities, and policy implementation.
• Ensure timely marking of students' books and provide targeted feedback.
• Attend and actively participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings to discuss progress and concerns.
• Participate in weekly Co-curricular Activities (CCA) and related duties.
• Undertake any other duties or school-related tasks as assigned.
