Job summary

A leading company in the semiconductor industry is seeking a Calibration Technician to maintain compliance with calibration standards and enhance lab capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in relevant engineering fields and some experience in calibration. Responsibilities include managing calibration records, coordinating with external providers, and generating procedures as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in calibration field.

  • Maintain calibration system compliance with IATF 16949.
  • Establish calibration failure reporting and corrective actions.
  • Provide calibration services and maintain records.

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Instrumentation Engineering
Applied Physics

Job description

  • Maintain the overall calibration system to be in compliance with IATF 16949.

  • Maintain all calibration standards used in the lab and its traceability to NIST or other national labs.

  • Establish calibration failure reporting and take corrective action and follow up system.

  • Continuously upgrade the calibration lab capabilities

  • Provide calibration services such as registration, equipment standardization, calibration, repair, recall etc.

  • Maintenance of calibration records.

  • Generate calibration procedures when necessary.

  • Coordinate external calibration activities with external service provider.

Job Qualification

  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or Applied Physics.

  • Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in calibration field.
