Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Calibration SME and maintain the Calibration Management System (CMS).
  • Create and manage calibration work orders.
  • Track and analyze equipment due and overdue calibrations.
  • Maintain calibration investigation forms and collaborate with equipment owners to ensure prompt closure.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal customers regarding calibration requirements.
  • Maintain calibration records, logs, and files.
  • Prepare and distribute calibration reports and metrics.
  • Gather and prepare data for project needs.
  • Contribute to Equipment Suitability & Selection from a calibration perspective.
  • Hire, train, and develop calibration technicians and coordinators.
  • Manage calibration budgets and expenses.
  • Ensure training compliance aligns with site goals for the calibration team.
  • Engage with internal and external customers, respond to requests, and explain procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Develop work schedules based on priorities and resources.
  • Oversee purchase orders and invoicing for calibration services.
  • Ensure safety and quality compliance, including QSR and ISO standards.
  • Troubleshoot calibration issues and update documentation accordingly.
  • Create or modify equipment, schedule, and work records within CMS.
  • Apply technical knowledge to resolve calibration challenges in manufacturing or research settings.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Required skills include:
