The role

Zaidun-Leeng Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drafter Electrical to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Drafter Electrical, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems and components, contributing to the success of our engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Interpret electrical specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to create accurate and comprehensive drawings

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure the design meets project requirements and industry standards

Assist in the development of electrical installation plans and diagrams

Provide technical support and answer queries related to electrical drawings and designs

Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical design software, tools, and industry regulations

Maintain accurate and organised documentation, including revisions and changes to electrical drawings

What we're looking for

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Drafter Electrical or in a similar role

Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for creating electrical drawings and schematics

Knowledge of BIM and REVIT is an advantages

Strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and codes

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
