Job Description

The company is an integrated security door manufacturer located in Klang. They provide and supply quality safety door around Malaysia. The team consist of professionals that have more than 20 years’ experience in the security and safety door industry.

Responsibilities:

• Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA software, and engage in rapid prototyping.
• Implement additive manufacturing techniques for rapid prototyping.
• Program and operate CNC machines for machining tasks.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies to optimize designs.
• Utilize computer programming skills to enhance design workflows.
• Select appropriate engineering materials and apply metrology techniques to ensure quality.
• Conduct quality and reliability assessments on designs and prototypes.
• Collaborate on product design and development projects.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety, health, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 1 year’s experience in related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or CATIA.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, including dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with high-precision measuring equipment such as micrometer screw gauges and profile projectors.
• Familiarity with 3D interpretation software, including Insight Software, Materialise Magic, Geometry Magic, and Object Studio.
• Proficient in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines for turning and milling.
• Experience managing rapid prototyping machines, including Direct Metal Laser Sintering, Objet, and Fortus.
• Basic knowledge of reverse engineering techniques, including 3D scanners.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to operate a reach truck.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage).
• Willing to work in Taman Klang Utama, Selangor.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm (willing to work extra time).
