Job summary

Teck Guan Group is seeking an experienced Drafter based in Tawau, Sabah. The role involves producing 2D drawings and 3D models, interpreting plans, and coordinating with engineers and site personnel to reflect changes and ensure accuracy.

You will perform site measurements when required, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Drafter in Construction/Interior Design/Architecture/Manufacturing/MEP.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• Hands-on experience with Revit / BIM software is a major advantage.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, SolidWorks, or MicroStation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D technical drawings, layouts, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, or related CAD software according to project requirements.
• Interpret engineering sketches, architectural plans, and specifications to prepare work plans and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to revise drawings based on feedback and structural changes.
• Conduct site measurements and verification when necessary to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain organized drawing logs, revision histories, and file archiving standards.
• Ensure all technical drawings strictly comply with local building regulations, safety standards, and company quality controls.
