Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable CAD designer to prepare detailed construction drawings and as-built documentation using AutoCAD. You will design 2D and 3D layouts and work closely with design, technical, and site teams while communicating with clients to ensure project alignment.

The role involves attending meetings, revising drawings for design changes, and verifying drawings against specifications. You will also assist in preparing quotations and tender documents as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to prepare 2D&3D layouts.
• Experience with design documentation and drawing verification.
• Ability to liaise with design/technical/site teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and detailed designs for preliminary construction and as-built status in AutoCAD.
• Design 2D & 3D layouts with AutoCAD or alternatives.
• Coordinate with project team and clients, attend meetings, and prepare shop drawings.
• Revise drawings to reflect design changes and ensure documentation consistency.
• Check drawings against specifications and design data.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales inquiries/proposals.
