Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer (C# .NET) to develop, enhance, and maintain business applications. You will be involved in application development, system integration, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, at least 2 years of experience with C#/.NET, and hands-on work with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and RESTful services, plus strong MS SQL Server knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in C# and .NET application development.
Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.
Good knowledge of MS SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.
Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Design and implement new features based on business requirements.
Develop and integrate APIs, web services, and third-party systems.
Optimize application performance and database operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
Participate in system testing, deployment, and support activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure software quality.
