Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, build, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and EF Core.

You will integrate with external systems, optimize SQL Server databases, and collaborate with QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Prior experience with REST/SOAP APIs and cloud knowledge (AWS) is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years hands‑on experience in .NET development (flexible).
• Fresh graduates with strong projects or EF/API knowledge may be considered.
• Strong experience in ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, and web development.
• Knowledge of microservices or containerization (Docker).
• Experience with 3rd‑party API integration (REST, SOAP, Webhooks, OAuth).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Visual Studio, and tools like Postman or Swagger.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC.
• Build backend services and Web APIs using C# and EF Core.
• Implement 3rd-party API integrations (REST/JSON/XML) including authentication.
• Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases with EF Core.
• Diagnose and resolve issues, support testing and deployments.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
• Document technical details and propose improvements.
