A company headquartered in Sungai Petani, Kedah specializes in the production of network communication and information security products, as well as computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Issue PO to suppliers as per ASL and according to part lead time after material plan is refreshed.
2. Regulate incoming materials, including pull-in and push-out demand quantity in tandem with customer’s latest schedule to optimize inventory level.
3. Act on customer’s ECN to mitigate risk of excess and obsolescence to minimum.
4. Liaise with suppliers for incoming defective part disposition. Familiar with RMA process.
5. Ensure POD process is completed and all relevant documents are submitted to Finance timely for payment purposes.
6. Provide quick turn solutions with or without PPV to fulfill customer short lead time orders.
7. Optimize cost of bringing materials by consolidating shipment frequency and selecting shipment mode.
8. Work cross-departmentally and with suppliers to resolve all issues amicably, including ad-hoc meetings, furnishing relevant data, and follow-up until issues are resolved.
9. Assist in vendor evaluation, selection, and approval process.
10. Provide informative reports for management review and decision making.

Requirements

1. At least Diploma / Degree in Material Management, ME, EE, or equivalent. Ability to understand components, whether electrical or mechanical, will be advantageous.
2. Highly analytical with keen attention to details.
3. Good working attitude and mindset. Pro-active and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
4. Good communication skills in Mandarin and English. Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred for serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
5. Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of MRP is advantageous.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Understanding of Incoterms.
8. Basic understanding of LMW.
9. Experience in PCBA or box-build manufacturing environments is advantageous.
10. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
11. Willing to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
