Source & Purchase Direct/Indirect Materials/Services according to specification.

Source and manage suppliers for HR-related services such as recruitment agencies, employee training programs, insurance providers, and wellness initiatives.

Handle procurement for facility management needs including maintenance, security, janitorial services, utilities, office equipment, and supplies.

Collaborate closely with HR and Admin/Facility departments to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of services.

Prepare and evaluate RFQs, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.

To follow-up & confirm delivery lead time of PO and expedite delivery of goods.

To plan, source & develop new potential vendors at the competitive price, quality & lead time.

Embark on cost reduction activities & participate in regular cost saving program.

Responsible for selecting and evaluate suppliers that meet Rapid’s sourcing policy and customer requirements.

Evaluate supplier pricing at the time of quoting to obtain the best available price

Regularly review all procurement activity and material usage to ensure that purchased product is constantly reappraised on a competitive basis to meet yearly cost reduction target.

Plans and executed project assignments related to purchasing as assigned by Management

Develops and maintains supplier relationships on an ongoing basis providing Rapid with the quality, on-time delivery, cost and lead-times

Ensure all purchase products and services from supplier/subcontractors are subject to quality requirement and comply with national standards

Expedite and escalate supplier delivery commitments to support production requirements.

Works with program managers and sales to expedite and adjusts delivery dates of material.

Works with suppliers to schedule, expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and any other discrepancy.

Assists to formulate, monitor and evaluate operation KPI’s for the Purchasing.

Supervises direct report on daily activities to make sure daily goals are met.

Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:

Using ERP/MRP or other systems.

Experience in direct and indirect procurement, preferably within HR services or facilities.

Dealing with suppliers in a high mix low volume and new product introduction (NPI) environment
globally.

Supplier Negotiations for short- and long-term contracts.

Purchasing and Sourcing of Components.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Indirect/Direct Material planning, procurement and sourcing experience
within Tier 1, aerospace, industrial, semiconductor.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or manufacturing engineering or related field.

Acts in an ethical and truthful manner, leading by example and earning the respect and trust of
co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Ability to take initiative and work without close supervision and results driven.

Delivers commitments, producing work of the highest quality in a timely and effective manner.
