PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, serving as a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. With long-term growth forecasts for semiconductor components and the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is needed for the back-end production, which involves the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.

Job Description

• Possesses comprehensive knowledge in Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Forecasting, and has enterprise project and commercial responsibility for assembly purchasing.
• Responsible for price negotiation and forecast planning with related suppliers.
• Able to take responsibility for RPP (ratio potential project).
• Ensure supplier enablement, especially for Malaysian sites.
• Develop and act as a bridge between local suppliers and the German and Chinese teams.
• Serve as an interface between the business unit and other stakeholders.
• Support sourcing activities for new projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a commercial, engineering, or supply chain role; experience in semiconductor manufacturing or electronic components is an advantage.
• Diversity in working with global teams; international background preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German and/or Chinese skills are a plus.
• High team spirit and ability to moderate meetings/workshops at all levels.
• Knowledge of digital tools such as Power BI or dashboards is welcomed.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to think strategically regarding category and supplier management, with problem-solving skills.
• Structured, independent working style with minimal supervision.
