Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Buyer cum Purchasing Executive at KIA MALAYSIA SDN BHD located in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. The role involves handling purchasing processes, creating purchase orders, utilizing analytical skills, engaging in purchasing activities, and maintaining effective communication within the organization.

The role requires :

  • Strong numerical & technical aptitude: Proficiency in handling numbers & technical details.
  • Price Negotiation & Verification: Skilled in negotiating & verifying prices with both local & overseas suppliers, including partners in Korea & other relevant parties.
  • Project Cost Management: Capable of monitoring, analyzing, maintain databases for new projects & monthly costs.
  • Procurement & Coordination: Experience in preparing & issuing Purchase Orders (Pos) for special projects & regular monthly needs and coordinating with Finance and Logistics departments.
  • Hands-On & Documentation: Able to handle practical, hands-on tasks & thorough documentation.
  • Multitasking & Agility: Efficient at multitasking and adapting quickly to changing needs.
  • Additional Tasks: Open to performing other duties as required by management.
