Job description

We are looking for a Buyer cum Planner with expertise in procurement, supply coordination, supplier management, and inventory monitoring.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  1. Oversee and manage purchasing of goods and materials according to the company's policies and delivery guidelines.
  2. Plan for future purchases based on sales projections, stock levels, and potential supplier issues.
  3. Monitor and maintain supplier contracts.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  5. Address issues related to deliveries, invoices, quality, pricing, and schedules.
  6. Collaborate with the production team to understand product needs and plan accordingly, tracking utilization and relevant metrics.
  7. Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
  8. Evaluate potential suppliers on price, reliability, and capabilities.
  9. Review and update supply and demand forecasts regularly.
  10. Maintain detailed records of purchases, pricing, and other key data.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Buyer cum Planner or similar role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
