Job description

We are looking for a Buyer cum Planner with expertise in procurement, supply coordination, supplier management, and monitoring inventory.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Oversee and manage purchasing of goods and materials as per the company's policy and delivery guidelines.
• Plan for future purchased items based on sales projections, stock levels, and potential supplier issues.
• Monitor and maintain contracts with suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased products.
• Address and resolve issues concerning delivered goods, invoices, quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Work together with production team to understand their product needs and plan accordingly, tracking product utilization and other relevant metrics.
• Manage inventory levels to anticipate shortages or surpluses.
• Evaluate potential suppliers based on price, reliability, and production capabilities.
• Regularly review and update supply and demand forecasts.
• Keep detailed records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

WE WANT SOMEONE WHO:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as a Buyer cum Planner role or similar field.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at interpreting data and making informed decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
