Business Unit Manager / Snr Program Mgr (EMS) – Johor – RM25k+Bonus+Allowance

A globally recognized EMS manufacturer with a long-standing presence in Malaysia is hiring a senior leader to head a full business unit. This role covers P&L, cross-functional team leadership, and regional coordination for electronics, box-build, and mechanical integration projects.

RM25,000 basic salary + fixed allowance

AWS + Performance Bonus + Long-Term Incentives

Leadership of a full EMS business line – from customer to delivery

Exposure to automation, machining, PCBA, and complex box-build

Manage full scope of the business unit: operations, engineering, planning, QA, SCM

Take charge of P&L, target setting, budgeting, and performance delivery

Lead customer engagement, project delivery, and lifecycle management

Drive continuous improvement in automation, process flow, and team capability

Collaborate with group stakeholders across Asia and Europe

Mentor and grow section heads and key managers to ensure KPI delivery

Ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-cost production of high-mix, low-volume assemblies

Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or similar)

10+ years in EMS/manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership roles

Strong P&L and strategic planning exposure

Experience with box-build, PCBA, machining, or high-mix EMS preferred

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Familiarity with ISO 9001, 13485, IATF 16949, and ERP systems is an advantage

LEAN/continuous improvement or automation project experience a plus
