Job Summary

The Business System Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, identifying business needs and translating them into technical requirements. They play a key role in system implementations, enhancements, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze business needs and objectives.
2. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
3. Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
4. Work with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately.
5. Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
6. Provide regular updates to Project Manager/Scrum master on project status and issue resolution.
7. Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for optimization.
8. Recommend system enhancements or workflow changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Support data analysis efforts and generate reports to provide insights into business performance.
10. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems.
11. Serves as escalation point for troubleshooting issues and coordinates with other Business Analysts and technical personnel for their resolution.
12. Conduct end-user training when necessary.
13. Prepare and keep system and project documentation up to date.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information systems/computer science or equivalent.
2. 6-8 years of experience.
3. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to measure and improve existing processes and procedures.
5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and able to perform in a team base environment with positive working attitude.
