Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity for candidate who thrives in dynamic and fast-paced start-up business process outsourcing (BPO) firm where we are expanding our business rapidly.

The Payroll Associate is chartered to administer and provide consultation in all aspects of payroll activities, employee benefits and HR related matters for companies across the globe. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate well across all levels of the organization, and external vendors/ advisors and be able to deliver quality business results.

To excel in this position, you should be adetail-oriented, an effective team player and performs well in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Processing individual country payroll and related transactions in accordance with deadlines, collating various internal sources of information.
  • Performing administration duties and handling clients’ queries across all Payroll and Benefits processes within established target timeline.
  • Document payroll processes and procedure.
  • Maintains complete confidentiality of all payroll data, records and reports. Ensures filing and recordkeeping of all employee files and data is compliant with the regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to all Document Retention, Reporting and Audit requirements across multiple Countries.
  • Communicating with external payroll vendors/partners to ensure timely, accurate processing, and knowledge of local requirements.
  • Undertaking any other ad-hoc projects/duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’sDegree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Administration/Statistics or equivalent business experience.
  • Fresh graduate with excellent CGPA preferably 3.50 and above; or 1-2 years of experience in HR/Payroll.
  • Excellentcommand of written and verbal English.
  • Proficient in MS Office like MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Exhibiting meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Customer oriented with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills in English.
  • Agile and adaptive in fast-paced environments by always championing high quality business services.
  • Highly motivated to succeed and passionate on continuous improvement, growth, and change.
  • Trustworthy and abide by Code of Ethics, carry out professional duties and responsibilities effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate with a strong background in academic, active participation in sports, and demonstrated leadership in curriculum-related activities during university.
  • Fluent in additional language(s) beyond English such as Mandarin, Japanese, Korean & etc.
  • Professional consulting service advisory experience.
  • Multi-Country payroll and consulting experience.
  • Multi-Country local regulatory and statutory compliance experience.
