Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in finance and accounting functions, preferably in Business Reporting.
• Experience in an MNC, shared service center or Malaysian Public listed company is an added advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical business reporting processes, including material ledger and cost center accounting.
• Perform monthly standard and actual cost calculations and stock valuation.
• Support inventory valuation activities, budgeting cycles, and production planning reviews.
• Execute cost center accounting activities, allocation cycles, and financial reconciliations.
• Process and analyze project accounting and non-trade transactions; support month-end/year-end close.
• Conduct cost and profitability analysis and provide insights on variances and manufacturing performance.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance, controlling, and operations to resolve reporting issues.

The opportunity

You will partner with stakeholders across regions to deliver insightful Business Reporting services, uncover performance drivers, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence strategy, optimize operations, and create lasting value for our clients

Your key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical business reporting processes, including material ledger, inventory valuation, production planning budgets, transfer pricing, cost center accounting, and project accounting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform monthly standard and actual cost calculations, ensuring accurate stock valuation and adherence to established reporting guidelines
• Support inventory valuation activities, budgeting cycles, and production planning reviews, ensuring compliance with global policies and reporting standards.
• Execute cost center accounting activities, allocation cycles, and financial reconciliations to support accurate financial and operational reporting
• Process and analyze project accounting and non-trade business transactions while supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
• Conduct cost and profitability analysis, identify key business drivers, and provide actionable insights on cost variances, inventory valuation, manufacturing performance, and capacity utilization.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance, controlling, and operations teams to resolve reporting issues, provide business insights, and support informed decision-making

Skills and attributes for success
