Michael Page are currently partnering with a global player in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry to recruit a permanent and experienced Regional Business Process Owner to specialise in their SAP CO module to join their Shared Services Centre, based in Petaling Jaya

Description

The job duties will include;

  • Identify and analyze future finance controlling needs and design SAP CO organizational structures, processes, and solutions that comply with legal and business requirements.
  • Actively contribute to SAP CO process design by organizing relevant data and evaluating the pros and cons of alternative system configurations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders-including finance, operations, and IT-to design and optimize finance flows within the SAP CO module.
  • Create, manage, and ensure accuracy of month-end closing activities using SAP CO functionalities.
  • Facilitate and lead Gap Analysis workshops to identify discrepancies between current SAP CO processes and desired business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive finance business process master list aligned with SAP CO processes and controls.
  • Identify and address improper use of the SAP CO system that may impact data accuracy or delay closing deadlines, and define corrective action plans to mitigate risks.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a minimum 4 years' experience with proven expertise in SAP CO module implementation, support, or consulting. Strong understanding of financial controlling principles, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong client relationships and collaborate with technical teams. Shared Service Centre experience would be a plus!
