The ideal candidate is expected to possess a solid understanding of accounting entries and relevant accounting standards, and to consistently complete assigned tasks within the required time frame.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks using the SQL Accounting System with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.
- Maintain an organized and efficient filing system for accounting documents and records.
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and other relevant parties as necessary.
- Provide administrative support and undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
- Work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines for month-end closing and account submissions.
- Support clients with monthly payroll processes, including preparation of payroll summaries, payslips, and statutory contributions.
- Assist clients in the preparation and submission of Sales & Service Tax (SST) filings.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least an LCCI Higher, Diploma in Accounting, CAT, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
- Meticulous with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A team player who thrives in a diverse and collaborative environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in SQL Accounting Software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
