We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Performance Analyst to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring the financial and operational performance of our international stores, supporting operational tracking, and generating insights through detailed reporting and analysis. This role is essential for ensuring the retail business achieves its strategic goals and operates efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Performance Monitoring

  • Track and analyse financial metrics such as sales, profitability, and cost efficiency.
  • Provide insights on key financial drivers affecting retail performance.
  • Support the achievement of OKRs, specifically in driving topline revenue growth and improving bottom-line performance (Profit After Tax).

Operations Tracking

  • Monitor day-to-day store operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support manpower and operational optimization through data-driven recommendations.

Report Generation

  • Prepare regular reports on retail performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations for management decision-making.

Operational & Financial Analysis

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis into specific operational challenges or financial variances.
  • Evaluate store performance against benchmarks and industry standards.

Strategic Support

  • Assist in developing strategies to enhance store efficiency and profitability.
  • Support business decision-making through actionable insights and forecasting.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at boosting sales growth and cost efficiency, such as non-trade procurement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of prior experience in consulting, retail or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis with Excel and data visualization tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
