onsemi’s Power Solutions Group in Malaysia is seeking a Staff Engineer to drive cost and quality programs across the organization. You will execute PSG's strategies with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology Development teams to deliver robust cost-reduction and quality improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Eight to ten years of experience in semiconductor business operations and/or hands-on semiconductor manufacturing, including wafer fabrication, assembly, and/or test.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quality, test engineering, or product engineering is highly preferred.
• Experience in new product development (NPD) and release to market (RTM) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate concise findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Fully office-based position.

Job Description

As a Staff Engineer in Power Solutions Group (PSG) Business Unit Operations, you will drive strategic cost and quality programs across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to execute PSG’s cost and quality strategies in partnership with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Technology Development teams.

• Develop front-end fabrication and back-end cost and quality strategies, optimization initiatives, and design solutions that support the needs of our rapidly growing discrete, integrated circuit, and power module businesses.
• Partner with Business Unit Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other teams to improve cost structures, supply-chain performance, and product quality.
• Develop and continuously improve methods, systems, and processes in a complex, fast-changing environment.

Proficiency in engineering and business statistical methods and analysis
