Business Liaison & Relationship Management
Involves serving as the primary contact for key customers, business partners, and industry stakeholders. This role requires coordinating internal resources to meet client-specific requirements and ensuring service level expectations are consistently met. A crucial aspect of the position is managing cross-border communication, particularly with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners, to ensure smooth collaboration and project execution. The role also includes facilitating contract negotiations, conducting regular business reviews, and fostering long-term strategic partnerships that contribute to sustainable business growth.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that span both digital and traditional platforms. This includes overseeing brand management activities, organizing promotional campaigns and industry events, and executing impactful product launches. Conducting in-depth market research and competitor analysis is essential to uncover emerging opportunities and inform strategic decisions. Additionally, the manager leads the creation of marketing content, product presentations, and sales enablement materials that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to target audiences.
Product & Market Development
Works closely with R&D and production teams to ensure alignment between product innovation and evolving market demand. By actively gathering and analysing customer feedback, the role contributes to continuous product improvement and enhanced service offerings. The manager also plays a key role in supporting pricing strategies and exploring opportunities for expansion into new markets and customer segments.
Sales Enablement & Customer Experience
Involves providing the Business Development & Marketing team with the necessary tools, insights, and marketing assets to enhance lead conversion and customer retention. The manager monitors customer satisfaction through key performance indicators and implements targeted initiatives to address any gaps.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
At least 10 years’ experience in marketing, business development, or client management in manufacturing.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken); Japanese is an advantage.
Proven experience in B2B marketing, customer engagement, and international business.
Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally for business.
