Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Reporting and Data Integration professional to design, develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS-based reports and ETL processes. You will optimize datasets, scheduling, and subscriptions, while producing operational, financial, and regulatory reports.

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Develop and optimise report datasets, parameters, subscriptions, and report scheduling.
• Produce operational, management, financial, regulatory, and ad-hoc reports.
• Troubleshoot report performance and optimise data retrieval efficiency.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server database objects including Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers.
• Create and optimise T-SQL scripts to support reporting and integration requirements.
• Perform query analysis and performance tuning.
• Support production database troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Monitor and support SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Develop and maintain system interfaces and integration processes.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Troubleshoot integration and data transfer issues.
• Develop operational and monitoring scripts using PowerShell.
• Support automated file transfers via SSH/SFTP.
• Support data encryption and decryption processes using PGP/GPG.
• Automate reporting and file processing activities.

Responsibilities

• Reporting Solutions Development is the primary responsibility, covering the full lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports and related datasets, parameters, and subscriptions.
• Manage ETL processes with SSIS and ensure data quality across sources and targets.
• Develop and support SQL Server database objects, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Implement secure file transfer and encryption for automation tasks, including SSH/SFTP and PGP/GPG.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
