What's the role?

As Senior Business Intelligence Analyst BW, you will be an integral part of our Global SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Team. Your role will be pivotal in driving the use and adoption of reporting to enhance decision-making processes across the Hilti organization.

In close collaboration with internal & external team members, you will manage the requirements of key stakeholders within a business domain. You will design, develop and maintain BW data models and reporting solutions to fulfill these requirements, ensure operational excellence, and provide guidance to other team members.

What does the role involve?

In this role you will

• Proactively manage business stakeholders and their requirements: Identify and analyze reporting needs and provide recommendations to enhance reporting processes.
• Shape and own BW data models: Collaborate with internal and external team members to conceptualize and implement new data models that align with business requirements.
• Drive operational excellence: Support the SAP BW solution and existing data models and processes, identify improvement opportunities, and take action to implement them.
• Guide and train yourself and others: Develop your skills towards a technology or people leadership role, provide expertise in your specific domain, and coordinate activities. Offer guidance and leadership to internal and external colleagues in extending and supporting the data model portfolio.

What you need is:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology/engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years of experience in SAP Business Warehouse
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence principles, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA, advanced ABAP experience, HANA Modeler, BW Query design
• Experience in product management, project management, agile methodologies, and stakeholder management is advantageous
• An entrepreneurial and team player mindset, excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
