JOB OVERVIEW

The Business Executive plays a critical role in driving sales and expanding market presence by promoting eLearning software solutions and services. This includes engaging potential and existing clients, showcasing tools like Articulate 360, Vyond, and Powtoon, and developing tailored proposals to meet diverse client needs. In addition to collaborating with internal teams such as marketing and training, this role involves conducting product demonstrations, building strong client relationships, and providing consultative support to ensure client satisfaction and maximise product adoption.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Development and Client Acquisition

  • Identify and approach potential clients for eLearning software solutions.
  • Conduct engaging product demos and presentations, both online and onsite.
  • Prepare customised proposals based on client needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and subscriptions.
  • Track sales activities and report key insights and performance.
  • Analyse client usage and requirements to suggest additional licences or services.
  • Build trust-based relationships that lead to increased adoption of the product suite.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the key contact point for assigned clients.
  • Provide ongoing consultative support, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.

Market and Product Insights

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback.
  • Share market intelligence to support internal strategy and product improvements.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing on campaign alignment and client outreach.
  • Coordinate with training and delivery teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and client experience.
  • Assist the operations team with client-related execution and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or business development, preferably within the eLearning or technology space.
  • Experience in B2B sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage decision-makers.
  • Good understanding of, or ability to quickly take up, education technology-related solutions.
  • Comfortable using CRM and productivity tools (e.g. Zoho CRM, Miro, ClickUp).
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.
