What will you be engaged in?

As our new Business Development Specialist you will have the opportunity to

Secure and Optimize Parking Spaces:

  • Identify, secure, and manage SOCAR Zone parking spots based on local characteristics, urban infrastructure, and real-time customer demand.
  • Ensure parking spaces are strategically located for maximum visibility, accessibility, and user convenience.

Parking Rate Management and Negotiation:

  • Establish and manage parking rates for SOCAR Zones to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.
  • Negotiate with parking lot providers to secure favourable terms, reduce operational expenses, and optimise profitability.

Fleet Relocation and Demand-Based Adjustments:

  • Monitor demand trends and adjust the fleet distribution accordingly, ensuring vehicles are available in high-demand areas.
  • Coordinate fleet relocation to meet customer needs and reduce wait times or vehicle shortages.

Handling Socar zone issues:

  • Address and resolve issues related to lost or unusable passcards. This includes promptly assisting customers in obtaining replacements and ensuring minimal disruption to their car-sharing experience.
  • Work with parking management teams to prevent clamping issues by maintaining proper signage, clear communication, and effective monitoring of parking spots.

Internal and External Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to achieve operational goals and deliver seamless service.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders, such as parking lot providers and local authorities, to address parking-related matters and resolve operational challenges.

Increase Visibility & Accessibility:

  • Work with the marketing and operations teams to enhance the visibility of SOCAR Zones through effective signage and other promotional initiatives.
  • Improve customer accessibility to SOCAR Zones through strategic placement of signs, clear communication, and easy navigation tools.

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban planning/Business or the equivalent.
  • Proficient in using GSuite (GSheet, GSlide, GDoc)
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Willing to learn attitude.
  • Added skill for SQL Experience for data management.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills, including carrying out weekly and monthly reporting
  • Candidates without prior experience in the mobility sector are still encouraged to apply.
  • Must have a collaborative approach to problem-solving and be able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
