Job summary

A leading property development company in Malaysia seeks a Business Development Executive to drive business growth in the industrial property sector. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in industrial property sales, excellent networking skills, and proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Job Description

  1. ·Drive business development in the industrial property and land sales sector, leveraging the company’s strong brand reputation to expand customer networks and secure new investments.
  2. Engage with industrial clients and investors by presenting the development’s investment environment, while tracking, following up, and nurturing client relationships across all project stages.
  3. Conduct targeted industrial market and product research, and prepare in-depth real estate reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  4. Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing initiatives, including exhibitions, investment forums, networking events, and online campaigns in compliance with corporate branding guidelines.
  5. Liaise with government and investment agencies such as MITI, MIDA, and etc to facilitate industrial-related property transactions and approvals.
  6. Build strong networks with industry players, trade associations, intermediaries, and potential investors, including participation in local and international business networking events to strengthen engagement and expand marketing channels.
  7. Assist in company events, project launches, and the preparation of marketing collaterals (including housing projects) to support the wider business development and sales team.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Property Management, Real Estate, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in industrial property/land sales or industrial development business development (mandatory).
  3. Strong understanding of Malaysia’s industrial property and land market; valuation experience is an added advantage.
  4. ·Results-driven, with strong organizational and time-management skills; capable of working both independently and in teams.
  5. Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  6. Technically minded, able to manage complex client requirements and industrial projects.
  7. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and confident presentation skills.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  9. Familiarity with Canva or other design tools is an advantage.
  10. Possess own transport, willing to travel outstation and occasionally overseas for business networking and client meetings.
