Overview

Our client is a Malaysian company specializing in providing comprehensive solar photovoltaic (PV) services, including consultancy, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and maintenance of solar PV systems.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar PV market in Northern Peninsular Malaysia (Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak).
  • Study and analyze potential clients’ needs to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate proposals/contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to gather necessary site information for initial engineering preparation to facilitate sales activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from proposal/contract signing to system commissioning.
  • Stay up to date with relevant authority policies, application flows, industry standards, regulations, best practices to provide best advice to clients.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and customer feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing plans.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in the solar PV industry with basic knowledge of solar PV system and authorities’ policies is an advantage.
  • Experience working in sales position with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Possess own car.
