Overview

Job Title: Business Development Representative (Outbound) - Malaysia - Lark APAC New


Responsibilities


  • Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, reporting into the regional lead based in Singapore, and focused on driving growth through outbound efforts and collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Help identify the perfect fit for Lark's services and products in the market using data-driven insights to guide strategy.

  • Qualify and screen potential business opportunities, assess requirements, and evaluate propensity to buy.

  • Introduce potential clients to Lark's range of services, products, and solutions, tailoring the pitch to address specific business needs.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, articulating Lark's unique value proposition and securing follow-up meetings with key decision-makers for deeper product discussions with a dedicated sales account executive.

  • Collaborate with sales, partners, and other teams to share insights and contribute to product-market fit improvements.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have 3+ years of related Business Development & Demand Generation experience with a focus on outbound strategies in SaaS, Cloud, or IT Security enterprise software.

  • English and Mandarin Chinese bilingual proficiency is required to liaise with internal and external English/Mandarin speaking clients within the region.

  • You possess a creative mindset and the ability to develop innovative sales prospecting and marketing ideas and campaigns.

  • You are customer-centric and prioritize client needs in decision-making.

  • You are analytical, comfortable with numbers, and able to analyze data to identify trends and communicate findings to sales management; capable of evaluating ROI of initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior startup experience, adaptability, entrepreneurial mindset, and willingness to wear multiple hats.

  • Knowledge of SFDC, HubSpot, Outreach, and similar tools.

  • Curious and proactive about learning, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
