We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who’s ready to jump in, get creative, and help us spark meaningful conversations with future customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a BDR at Cheqroom, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth. You’ll connect with potential customers, spark meaningful conversations, and help position Cheqroom as the go‑to solution for equipment management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively create outbound leads using social media, email, phone, and other channels
  • Customer Engagement: Research and connect with key decision‑makers in our target industries
  • Pipeline Management: Qualify leads, book meetings, and ensure smooth handoffs to the sales team
  • CRM Ownership: Keep HubSpot up to date with accurate lead activity and pipeline details
  • Tool Mastery: Use platforms like Sales Navigator, LinkedIn and others to maximize your outreach
  • Goal‑Oriented: Consistently hit (and aim to exceed!) your monthly activity and lead targets
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Previous experience in business development and/or outbound prospection and cold outreach (bonus points for SaaS experience)
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with our target markets is an advantage
  • Tech‑Savvy: Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn prospecting and more
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging
  • Proactive: A self‑starter who thrives on creativity, strategy, and achieving results
  • Social Selling: Confident using LinkedIn and social media to build relationships
  • Resilient: Comfortable with rejection, quick to adapt, and eager to improve
