Job summary

A leading e-commerce platform is seeking a Client Relations Associate to manage merchant performance and drive sales growth. The role involves monitoring competitor activities, proposing actionable strategies, and working closely with merchants to enhance their presence on the platform. Candidates should possess a sales background, strong presentation skills, and a passion for e-commerce.

Qualifications

  • Open to traveling for work.
  • 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or Telco.
  • Excellent command of English and ability to converse in other languages.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor merchants' performance to ensure alignment with Shopee's product campaigns.
  • Identify high-potential accounts to convert them to Shopee merchants.
  • Achieve sales targets and increase revenue.

Job Description

  • Monitor merchants' performance by Areas to ensure merchants are on par with Shopee's current product promo/channel or campaigns. To work together closely with merchants' account management.
  • Observe and report competitor activities/programs in respective Areas and review their effectiveness/ threat/ opportunities towards Shopee. To propose Quick Win actions to maintain competitiveness within Areas.
  • To explore green field areas within Areas for further expansion.
  • To achieve sales targets for co-funding & campaigns, leading to the revenue increase.
  • Constantly ensure Shopee's presence is visible within Areas managed.
  • To identify high-potential accounts, converting them to Shopee merchants.

Requirements

  • Open to traveling to Melaka for work.
  • SPM or Diploma in any field, preferred but not limited to Business, Commerce, Marketing
  • Comes with sales experience, preferably in FMCG and Telco industry would be added advantage
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about e-commerce / digital payments
  • Effective presentation skills, backed by good business acumen
  • Enjoy challenges and remain flexible in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  • Proactively engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect problems and implement solutions accordingly
  • Excellent command of English, the ability to converse fluently in other languages (e.g.: Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) to communicate with merchants from diverse backgrounds
  • Open to flexible working arrangements during peak seasons / based on business needs
