You'll be working for a market-leader within the Insurtech industry who is looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Klang Valley. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.
Your new role
You will be reporting to the Head of Business Development. Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Build and nurture strong professional connections with key stakeholders and potential clients to uncover partnership opportunities and accelerate business growth.
- Drive the discovery, engagement, and securing of new business opportunities, encompassing RFP responses, proposal creation, and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with internal technical teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that address the specific needs of clients, particularly in the insurance and financial sectors. Oversee the preparation and review of sales contracts to ensure compliance with legal regulations and corporate standards.
- Proactively engage with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and challenges. Establish a deep understanding of their business objectives and priorities. Regularly assess client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to maintain strong relationships.
- Design and execute client retention strategies to foster strong satisfaction and loyalty. Continuously assess client accounts to pinpoint risks or opportunities for enhancement. Take proactive measures to resolve concerns and implement corrective actions to sustain client relationships and reduce churn.
What you'll need to succeed- 3 - 5 years of proven experience in Business Development and Account management.
- Ability to sell SaaS solutions to enterprise clientele
- Must be a people person , able to engage comfortably with clients.
- Should be able to work with minimal supervision but not be completely independent
