Business Development Manager(Food Industry)

About the role

As a Business Development Manager at MAOYE FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, and involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base.

What you'll be doing

• Identify opportunities in target markets for the organization's products and services
• Generate leads through cold calling prospective clients or networking at trade shows
• Develop and nurture relationships with key customer accounts
• Follow up with new leads and referrals generated from the sales team
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's business development plan
• Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to management

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• Demonstrated skills in prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience in sales within frozen food, FMCG, food distribution, or related fields
• Proficient in preparing and delivering high-impact sales presentations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Proficient in speaking and writing in Chinese, Malay, and English
• Willing to travel outstation
