A leading technology solutions provider specializing in digital transformation and IT infrastructure is seeking a talented and driven Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team and embark in a new journey focusing on their cybersecurity segment in Malaysia.This is an exciting opportunity for cybersecurity sales professionals to leverage their expertise in building and shaping a new cybersecurity division from the ground up.

What You'll Do
  • Find New Opportunities: Research markets to identify emerging trends and potential clients, generating new leads through strategic outreach, networking, and industry events. You will be responsible for building and managing a robust sales pipeline.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Connect with key decision-makers to understand their unique security challenges and present customized cybersecurity solutions. You'll collaborate with sales and technical teams to design and present winning proposals.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to align efforts and provide market feedback to enhance our offerings.
  • Stay Knowledgeable: Be a subject matter expert on our portfolio of cybersecurity products and services. You will keep up with the latest threats, trends, and regulations to provide expert advice and guidance to clients on improving their security posture.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, with a strong focus on cybersecurity solutions.
  • Proven Track Record: A history of exceeding sales targets and demonstrating significant revenue growth.
  • Technical Understanding: A solid grasp of cybersecurity products and services, including areas like Security Operations Centers (SOC), penetration testing, and cloud security.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Key Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
