The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to help IOI Palm Wood obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. The role involves strategic planning, sales management, and prospecting for new clients to help grow a sustainable client base. The goal is to drive financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- To lead the Sales & Marketing team and department.
- Formulate and execute marketing plans, sales strategies, and campaigns to generate sales revenue in accordance with the monthly and annual sales targets of the company.
- Utilize all sales channels from conventional to digital tools to acquire sales and business opportunities.
- Planning, implementing and executing any other business projects and assignments, related to the company.
- Assist in the development of branding, sales and marketing materials/documentation.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Execute an effective pricing policy and maintain strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
- Provide customer service support to all customers including attending to all queries from customers.
- Coordinating with the production, warehouse, logistics, service providers and transportation to track on time shipment and arrival to customers.
- Facilitate the setup the Autocount, SAP, (or other Enterprise Management) system for Sales Division when necessary.
- Take ownership on the Finished Goods inventory. Ensure that we eliminate/minimize any dead stock or slow-moving goods in the warehouse. We should operate a ‘Make to Stock’ philosophy.
- To perform and carry out all other assignments or duties related to the Business Development and Sales & Marketing function assigned from time to time.
- Any other ad-hoc assignments/tasks assigned by CEO.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Development or Sales & Marketing or B2B sales experience in domestic and export market.
- Proven track record of client’s acquisition and new market development experience.
- Passionate, enthusiastic and driven to regularly follow-up with loose ends.
