Job description

Job Responsibility
  1. Acquire New Clients and Cultivate Revenue: Focus on acquiring new customers while also nurturing and expanding revenue opportunities from current accounts. This involves a 70% focus on prospecting new leads and a balanced effort in upselling to existing clients.
  2. Transform Leads into Profitable Business: Convert a minimum number of prospects into profitable business relationships.
  3. Quotation and Bid Management: Handle the preparation of quotations, requests for quotations (RFQs), tender bids, and rate reviews.
  4. Sales Reporting: Provide weekly updates on sales progress to management.
  5. Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and surpass set sales targets by generating revenue and contributing to the company's gross profit.
  6. CRM Management: Keep detailed records in the CRM system, including customer information, sales visits, and progress.
  7. Identify and Register Opportunities: Spot potential customers and identify opportunities to offer supply chain solutions that drive revenue.
  8. Negotiation and Profit Maximization: Negotiate terms with accounts according to pricing guidelines to maximize profit margins.
  9. Timely Customer Follow-Up: Ensure prompt and professional follow-up on customer communications.
  10. Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations: Work closely with customer service and operations teams to execute customer quotations effectively.
Job Requirements
  1. Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration and Management or a discipline related to Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
  2. At least 2-3 years of working experience in forwarding or logistics company in a Sales/Business Development role.
  3. Excellent understanding of pricing strategies and pricing mechanisms.
  4. Must be a result oriented commercial professional and have a proven track record of significant sales results and driving business growth through effective sales strategies.
  5. Well-developed business sense (Business Acumen).
