Job description

· Identify and target new business opportunities in international and domestic freight forwarding (air, ocean, and land), freight management services for large importers/ exporters, warehousing and distribution solutions.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers/consignees, importers/exporters, manufacturers, supply chain, logistics, transportation and procurement teams.

· Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and client referrals.

· Understand customer needs and provide tailored logistics solutions involving freight management, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, and value-added services.

· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

· Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with company guidelines.

· Work closely with operations, IT and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously improve strategies.

· Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.

· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

a. Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

b. More than 3 years of experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding or logistics and preferably for the Chemical industry

c. Understanding of freight forwarding and international shipping process, documentations and customs procedures

d. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

e. Strong organizational and time management abilities

f. Willingness to travel locally and/or internationally as required
