About the role

As the Business Development Manager at Hotel Grand Continental KL, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the hotel. This full-time position is based in Kuala Lumpur and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the hotel's ongoing expansion and development.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the hotel's client base
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key industry partners, such as travel agencies, corporate clients, and event organisers

• Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure new business deals

• Collaborating with the hotel's marketing and operations teams to ensure a cohesive and successful business development approach
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals set by the hotel management

• Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and partners
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch the hotel's offerings
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
• Familiarity with the Kuala Lumpur hospitality market and industry trends
