The role focuses on identifying new market opportunities and developing partnerships to enhance the company's position in the retail sector. Gain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, market position, and competitive landscape.
Identify and recommend new products and services.
Propose and develop strategic partnerships.
Plan and oversee events that promote the company’s products and services, ensuring maximum exposure and engagement.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend high-potential locations (e.g., malls, commercial hubs) for retail outlets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retail partners. Ensure consistent communication, alignment on targets, and smooth operational execution.
Job Description:
Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, potential locations, trends, customers, partnerships, and products/services.
Vet and evaluate new markets and potential locations both quantitatively and qualitatively.
Build relationships with potential partners, suppliers, distributors, and vendors.
Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts.
Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships to increase market share.
Submit tenders and monitor project documentation.
Prepare quotations and manage payment collection from clients.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related field.
Experience in the real estate, retail, or corporate sector is an added advantage.
Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and a Chinese dialect.
Familiar with field sales, face-to-face selling, and group presentations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
