Job description

Master the effective skill set for building sales pipelines, qualifying leads, and optimizing conversion rates.

Optimize sales forecasting accuracy to reflect trends for easier business planning.

Take a proactive approach to find new business opportunities by reaching out to potential customers via phone calls, emails, or other means.

Analyse the market, competition, technology and developments & identify potential customers who may be interested in the product being offered within ASEAN region and/or assigned territories.

Assist Associate Director, Business Development (ABDD) to prepare the pitching presentation to prospects in a compelling and persuasive manner, highlighting its features, benefits, and unique selling points of the products.

Keep track of sales activities, interactions with prospects and existing clients. Report progress to ABDD and management; and analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Build and maintain database to track current, new and potential tenders’ timings. Pro-actively solve problems and forecast future order patterns.

Ability to use AI and other tools to efficiently scope new potential clients/product segments.

Assist in ad hoc projects when assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of relevant sales & marketing or business development experience in FMCG or Electronics or Consumer goods industry; hands‑on approach.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Bilingual and proficient in both English and Mandarin languages as this role is required to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking counterparts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills; good problem‑solving capability
  • Proficient in MS Office eg. Word, Excel and PowerPoint; competent in developing presentations & business reports
