Golden Destinations by ICE HOLIDAYS Sdn Bhd is a leading B2B travel wholesaler in Malaysia, specializing in providing customized travel packages to partners across the ASEAN region.
As we expand our services into the cruise segment, we are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in driving digital transformation and operational efficiency across our B2B travel services and will work closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and designers and to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
This is a full-time onsite position in ICE HOLIDAYS Sdn Bhd’s office in Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities with travel agents, corporate clients, tourism partners, and other industry partners.
- Build and maintain good relationships with existing partners to encourage long‑term collaborations.
- Promote the company’s travel products through presentations, briefings, and market visits.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitors.
- Work closely with Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver sales plans and meet client needs smoothly.
- Join client meetings, travel fairs, roadshows, and industry events to build brand awareness and get new leads.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, sales reports, and performance updates for management.
- Provide product training and destination updates to partners, enhancing their knowledge and confidence in selling company packages.
- Ensure strong customer support and follow‑up to maintain high service standards and partners satisfied.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of working experience in the travel industry, preferably in Sales, Business Development, or related fields.
- Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken, written, and reading). Candidate that can converse in Chinese language will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, confident, and able to engage professionally with partners and clients.
- Excellent follow‑up skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working long hours with computers and mobile devices.
- Basic computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel when required (travel allowance will be provided).
