We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in Malaysia and support our regional expansion efforts. This role is ideal for a commercially minded, client-focused professional with a strong understanding of the corporate services in Malaysia and beyond. As a key member of the regional Business Development team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to promote Acclime’s suite of services, generate new leads, and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities by engaging both existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to enhance the business development process, actively promoting cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, identifying and exploring areas for revenue growth and service expansion.
  • Conduct market and business analysis to identify potential deals, assess deal requirements and financials, and prioritize opportunities in line with strategic goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and maintain strong technical knowledge of governance and professional services.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Development Assistant Manager / Manager role or similar capacity.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales within the governance or professional services industry.
  • Solid understanding of the Company Secretarial profession is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, written and spoken, is essential.
